Today I edited the new version of the music video. When editing the video I used cuts, however I didnt make the shots fast paced as that wouldnt fit in with the speed of the music. The shots were quite slow with not loads of cuts. I also used some slow fades for the transition between shots. I changed the speed of the ‘storyline’ shots within the music video. These were slow motion to show mroe emotion and makes the viewer focus on it more.
Another piece of editing I did was if I found the shot was too shaky I stablised the image. This was a feature on my editing software where I chose the radius and then made the footage less shaky and more smooth. For example I did this on the scenes that was filmed outside where I held the tripod to create less shakes, but it still had some. So this feature was useful and made the whole video more smoother and professional.
