To promote the song Only You Can Save and the new Album that goes with the digipak I will produce a magazine advert. But first I am going to research what magazine adverts for CD’s contain.
Therefore I have gathered up a couple of Christian magazines as my target audience are Christians.

This first magazine advert is advertising more a tour than a CD however it is advertising some Christian bands.
It includes a picture of the band members and there names. It also includes tour dates, and times plus has a website to find more information. Plus at the bottom it includes its sponsors and record labels.
Therefore I believe that I should follow some of these conventions and include website link for people to find more information. Plus I should have the record labels at the bottom. This will be sixstep records, soul survivor and sparrow records. Also I want to include information on tour dates for the bands new tour to go with the album. I should also include a picture of the artist.
Also to keep up with technology I might also include a QR code to link to the website or to give a preview of the music video.

This magazine advert also includes some similar things such as the website link and the logos of the record labels. Therefore I should defiantly include this.
Also it gives information on where you can download the CD. Plus giving an image of the actual album. Therefore I will include this on my own advert. Plus it does have some small information on their tour but its quite small. For my advert I want to make it bigger and probably like the big church night in one.

This advert is quite thin, but still follows the same conventions of the others. It has an image of the CD cover, and the whole advert uses that same image. It follows the same style as their digipaks and their music video, making it easily recognizable of who the artist is and you ca associate the different products together easily.
It also includes a QR code to a preview of one of their songs, and gives information on links to their website and on their record labels.
I have noticed that all of the adverts follow a “house style” that links to their digipak and music video making them all recognizable to each other. Therefore I shall do this in my own advert.
